Attacks between Benno’s Candidate and the « Diomaye President » Coalition: It Flies Low

On the campaign trail in Tamba, the Bby candidate has hit back against attacks of the leaders of the « Diomaye President » coalition. For Amadou Ba, Bassirou D. Faye and Ousmane Sonko are « a danger to the country ». –
In Tamba, Amadou Ba did not miss the opportunity to respond to his detractors. « When I heard talk of a currency at a time when we are moving towards integration, I cringed, » insisted the tax and property inspector by training. « A state is serious business! Their aim is to disintegrate Senegal. They are a danger to the country », he said, referring to Diomaye Faye and Sonko. « Vote for experience, expertise and competence », he advised.
« Some people say they’ll build you bridges, rails and so on, tell them it’s too late, Macky has already completed these projects », said the Bby candidate. « The passenger train is coming soon, » he says to those who talk about reviving the railways.
« For those who talk about the dry port, they have not come to Tamba for centuries. The dry port is almost finished », exulted Macky Sall’s candidate.
I salute young people, » continued Amadou Ba. I promise to be the President of youth employment, with at least 1 million jobs during the five-year term », he promised. Intending to do better than Macky, who has already created 600,000 jobs. And we could even go further with the arrival of additional wealth, » he added.
To Sidiki Kaba, he promised: « Our paths will continue to cross forever. You passed the baton to me at Foreign Affairs, and I did the same at the Prime Minister’s Office. You have my full confidence and satisfaction. »
«I want to be the President of all Senegalese»
If the commitment noted at the reception given to Amadou Ba is reflected in the ballot box, there is no doubt that he will be the 5th President of the Republic. « I want to be the President of Senegal, but I also want to be the President of all Senegalese », declared Amadou Ba.
In any case, he was given a warm welcome. Sidiki Kaba, Mamadou Kassé, the mayor, Sina Cissokho, Djimo Souaré and other officials were out in force. All the leaders of the region mobilised to welcome the Bby Coalition candidate.
Mamadou Kassé justified his commitment by the fact that the man is the candidate of President Macky Sall and that of the Bby Coalition. Better still, he has all the qualities needed for the job. The President of the Departmental Council of Tambacounda continued: « We were Senegalese entirely apart, and today you have made us Senegalese in our own right. That is why, he said, « we are united and united to bring you to power ». He went on to urge young people to have no fear, to continue spearheading the cause and never to allow the country to fall into the hands of the inexperienced. Sidiki Kaba followed suit, expressing his delight at the turnout in support of his predecessor at the Prime Minister’s Office and Bby candidate. You’ve come out in force to support the Bby Coalition candidate, » he exulted. You should know that we have only one candidate, and that’s Amadou Ba », said the current Prime Minister.
« On Thursday, you came out in large numbers to thank the President following my appointment. Today, you have come out once again to welcome Amadou Ba, our candidate, Macky Sall’s candidate. He will be the 5th President by the grace of God », rejoiced Sidiki Kaba. Before promising that « the man will be in continuity, in the emergence and in the holistic programme of President Macky Sall. Amadou is arriving to consolidate the achievements and continue in the footsteps of President Macky Sall », reassured Sidiki Kaba. Before enjoining his followers: « On 24 March, before noon, I’d like to hear the cry: its Amadou Ba. »
« You have finished showing the way », replied the Bby Coalition candidate. « I am reassured by your mobilisation », added Amadou Ba. « Tambacounda is a region of integration and openness. Tambacounda is Senegal, if not Africa in miniature », he said, haranguing the crowds.
