Chairing a government seminar with the aim of sharing the main orientations of this new economic and social policy document last Friday, President Bassirou Diomaye Faye wanted to raise awareness among his government on the need for transparency. “We must be irreproachable. If we are found wanting in the context of governance, the People will be disenchanted and we will no longer be able to mobilize them. From now on, let us remember the adventures that brought us here. The Prime Minister said: « A program must be defended. Actions must be popularized, » warned the Head of State. Not without mentioning government solidarity and understanding. « If one of us, in all responsibility and with full knowledge of the facts, decides, in the privacy of his office, to transgress, he cannot lead anyone into government solidarity. It is not our role and we must all understand it. These are choices and they must be assumed by their authors, » declared President Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
