The Minister of Commerce, Consumer Affairs and Small and Medium Enterprises reassures on the related disruptions in the distribution of butane gas. Abdou Karim Fofana met, yesterday in Diamniadio, during a discussion meeting, the distributors “to discuss the supply disruptions observed in Dakar”. According to the Minister of Commerce, this “supposed shortage” would be linked “to the applicability of the ministerial decree establishing the interchangeability of gas cylinders”.

To go further in consultation, the Minister of Commerce, Consumer Affairs and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, assisted by his close collaborators, directors and department heads, announced the development of a new decree to “correct the irregularities noted in the current ministerial decree, but also to guarantee to each distributor the return of empty bottles with an acceptable deposit rate to avoid leakage into neighbouring countries.”
