End of Mandate: Macky to Leave on 2 April

Macky Sall is to leave on 2 April. President Sall has decided not to remain at the head of state for another minute. His decision is irrevocable, as he will be notifying the Constitutional Council as of today. It will be up to the 7 Wise Men to find the president who will ensure the transition. As he said in the Council of Ministers, he will refer the matter to them for an opinion in the context of the conclusions of the national dialogue, which proposed that the presidential election be held on 2 June.
