The High Court of Mbour has deliberated on the Tchicky case.People called to the bar received different penalties.In this case, OumarNdione received the heaviest sentence.The court sentenced him to 2 months in prison.The defendant is the brother of MackySall‘s adviser who initiated the legal proceedings.But,OumarNdione is identified as the instigator of the fight that left several wounded, some in serious condition.The prosecutor sough, on the day of the trial, charges for the offences of assault and battery against OumarNdione and asked for a prison sentence of one year, including 6 months of jail time.The High Court of Mbour also sentenced three elements of OusmaneSonko‘s close guard.LamineSonko, ModouDiop and DiakhatéDiop were all found guilty of the offence of assault and battery and were each sentenced to one month in prison.ModouDiaw and IbrahimaBoye, also employed as bodyguards, were acquitted and all charges against them were dropped.
