Yesterday, President Diomaye Faye received the list of grievances from the trade unions at the Presidency of the Republic, in the presence of all the members of the government. These include concerns about job cuts, the completion of the restructuring process at The Poste (relaunching its activities), the implementation of the social plan, the updating of agreements in the primary sector (livestock, agriculture and fishing), retirement at 65, the upgrading of contracts and social protection for drivers. These demands affect teachers, journalists and local authority workers. Of course, most of these demands were included in the other grievance books.

In a meeting with the general secretaries of the central labor bodies, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, said he was « sensitive to the unions’ call ».
