From July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, military retirements will be frozen. In a decree signed on May 8, President Sall notes that the retirement of military personnel from the Armed Forces will be exceptionally suspended.  Why? For reasons of Defense Secrets, no details were given.

But this shows a desire to keep the number of military personnel. And also in the Constabulary. On Wednesday, the National Gendarmerie also announced that the launching of the recruitment program for non-reengaged soldiers rank of the 2019, 2020, 2021/1 contingents.

This recruitment only concerns non-commissioned members of the Armed Forces who have completed the legal duration of military service and who are not engaged by their respective corps. As such, the interested parties will present themselves this morning to the Admission and Mobilization Division located in the Samba Diéry Diallo district, in Colobane.
