Pastef MP Thierno Aly Sy forced to resign faced with threats of removal

Pastef MP Thierno Aly Sy yesterday resigned from the National Assembly by sending a letter to the president of the parliamentary institution, El Hadji Malick Ndiaye. Following a spotlight focus on him after Barthélemy Dias was removed from his position as MP, Thierno Aly Sy decided to put his fellow MPs from the same party at ease, by resigning.
